Quick Impact Facade Grant Program
Discover Downtown Washington

This program is intended to create an opportunity that will stimulate quick improvements to the exteriors of the buildings within downtown Washington, Indiana. Although a small grant, this program is designed to reflect quick, tangible, positive change downtown through enhanced aesthetics.

The Mural Grant Program, organized by Discover Downtown Washington, will select one recipient to receive a grant to complete a mural in the downtown district, and will receive $3,500 upon completion of the work and adherence to the mural grant guidelines. This program is intended to create an opportunity that will enhance arts and culture, while building upon the identity and values in downtown Washington, Indiana. This grant was made in partnership with the City of Washington and Daviess County, as funding comes from the remaining marketing fund from the Quick Impact Façade Grant Program of 2023.

The Banner Program aims to enrich and enhance the Downtown Business District by adding vibrancy and beauty to downtown Washington. It also serves to highlight loved ones in our community. Three Banner Programs are available:
Seniors in Fall Extracurriculars (September - October)
Veteran's Banner (November, May)
Seniors in Spring Extracurriculars (February - April)
Please check back for form availability. One person per banner. Banners can be purchase for $150 upon completion of the form. Banners can be purchased by a loved one, employer, booster club, or sponsor.
